- Description
Provides expedited treatment for patients addicted to alcohol or opioids. Care model is designed to start therapy immediately and then connect patients with an appropriate ongoing care provider. Staffed by physicians and registered nurses.
Services include:- same-day counselling, addiction medication and prescription therapies
- access to both short- and long-term treatments
- referral to additional supports and resources in the community
Aims to prevent opioid overdoses and reduce ER visits and inpatient hospital stays
