Offers assessment and treatment for people with serious mental health and addiction problems and their families to promote recovery and improve quality of life.
Provides specialized services through integrated and coordinated clinical programs:
Adult Outpatient Program - treatment for people with a serious and persistent mental illness and their families.
Services include:- crisis intervention
- initial intake and assessment
- psychiatry consultation
- group therapy
- individual counselling
- Psychological testing
- community advocacy and community links
Adult Inpatient Program -
- crisis intervention, assessment, stabilization, short-term treatment and discharge planning for people with serious mental health issues
Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Unit (CAPU)
- a six (6) bed short-stay assessment and stabilization unit.
- provides a safe and low-stimulus therapeutic environment for youth 17 years of age and under.
- Patients meet with a Psychiatrist and Social Worker daily.
- Nursing staff and Child and Youth Workers are onsite to support youth in their treatment.
- Treatment may include managing medications, teaching distress tolerance and emotional regulation skills, and safety planning.
- Family or guardians and other community service providers are involved in care.
Regional Early Psychosis Intervention Program - helps individuals who have experienced the onset of a psychosis benefit from early treatment and provides support to their families

Treats people who live in Peterborough County or are referred from Community Mental Health Clinics in the counties of Northumberland, Haliburton or City of Kawartha Lakes.
